Dougie Freedman
Dougie Freedman kept up his fine scoring form for the reserves in their 1-0 win at Norwich City.
Freedman headed in Danny Butterfield's delivery at the far post from a short corner after nine minutes, in front of 1,725 fans at Carrow Road.
Three minutes earlier Julian Speroni made a good save from a low Henderson drive after Paul McVeigh slipped him through.
A minute after Freedman's goal, Phil Mulryne went close to scoring with a 25-yarder that Speroni was equal to.
Then Shaun Derry had a 25-yard free-kick effort tipped over the bar by Norwich keeper Darren Ward.
Anthony Danze and Sandor Torghelle then went close with decent efforts.
In the 56th minute, McVeigh sparked a 21-man fracas after going in with his studs on Derry. He was booked and later subbed.
Mulryne nearly snatched a late equaliser for the hosts but his strike from the edge of the box smacked against the woodwork.
Palace: Speroni, Butterfield, Leigertwood, Derry, Hudson, Sorondo, Danze, Soares, Freedman, Torghelle, Borrowdale.
