Sam Togwell

Eagles youngster Sam Togwell has turned down a move to Norwegian club Viking Stavanger.

Viking Stavanger had hoped to sign Togwell, 20, on loan for the rest of the season. But the defender opted to stay in London, leaving Viking manager Roy Hodgson disappointed.

"It does not seem like he wants to join us," Hodgson told Rogalands Avis.

"I am just interested in players who really want to play for me."
