Dougie Freedman
Dougie Freedman reckons Palace have enough quality to make an instant return to the Premiership.
The Palace legend came on in the second half against Charlton on Sunday and scored the equalising goal before winning a penalty which Andy Johnson converted and give Palace a 2-1 lead.
But the Eagles conceded a Charlton equaliser eight minutes from time which, after West Brom's win over Portsmouth, meant they were relegated from the Premiership.
But Freedman, whose own Palace future is not yet certain, says the Eagles can bounce back.
"We've got potential at this club, there are young players here that are very good, we have got a young manager, the chairman is always backing us and we've got a good fan base," he told Radio 5 Live.
"We invented a word earlier in the season, 'bouncebackability', and that is what we need to show now.
"We can come straight back next season as we've got good players and good, young players - we will definitely be up there fighting for promotion again next season."
