Crystal Palace are set to sign Jobi McAnuff after agreeing a fee with Cardiff City.
Midfielder McAnuff insisted he wanted to stay at cash-strapped Cardiff only a few weeks ago.
But with a year left on his contract, the Welsh side are keen to get funds in to pay off mounting debts.
Cardiff City owner Sam Hammam told BBC Wales Sport that he has agreed a fee with Palace, believed to be £450,000, for McAnuff and he will have a medical today.
The 23-year-old has scored three goals for Cardiff since joining from West Ham in August.
*Palace are understood to have agreed a £1.5m fee for Millwall centre-back Darren Ward.
