Sandor Torghelle has joined Greek side Panathinaikos on a season's loan.
Torghelle, 23, has struggled to find his way into the Eagles side since joining from MTK Hungaria last summer.
And the Hungarian striker decided to join the Greeks after being told by Iain Dowie he was his fourth-choice striker.
Now Torghelle will play in the Champions League for his new side, but is sad to be leaving London.
He told the South London Press: "I was told I may not feature much this season. This was very sad news for me as I thought my style of play would be more suited to the Championship.
"But Panathinaikos will be a good opportunity for me. I'm only going on loan, maybe I'll be back next year."
He scored one goal - against Charlton in the Carling Cup - in six starts and nine sub appearances.
