Iain Dowie
Iain Dowie set his sights on a top-two finish after Palace's dramatic win at Brighton.
A stoppage time goal from Jobi McAnuff clinched a 3-2 win on the south-coast after Leon Knight had twice put Brighton ahead.
It was Palace's first league win at their bitter rivals since 1963 and it had Dowie dreaming of promotion.
He said: "We have an opportunity to challenge for the top two spots. It's very pleasing to say we have a never say die attitude.
"It was an even game in terms of chances and Brighton played really well, but to finally win in Brighton after all this time is a boost for us.
"We passed the ball well and showed great character to win the match in the manner we did.
"For Dougie Freedman to score his 100th goal in a local derby was extra special for him. He is proving what he's capable of and his second goal was a terrific strike."
