Sam Togwell
Sam Togwell has extended his loan period at League One side Port Vale.
The 21-year-old has been at Vale since November and has impressed boss Martin Foyle in a midfield role.
Togwell believes the loan spell, which has given him valuable first team experience, has helped his game.
"I feel my game's improved a lot over the past few weeks," he said. "On the down side it was obviously hard being away from friends and family over Christmas, but that's part and parcel of being a footballer and you just have to get on with it.
"I would definitely recommend a loan spell to other young players trying to make their way in the game, because I've learned a lot."
Togwell has had previous loans at Oxford Utd and Northampton Town.
