Mark Hudson
Mark Hudson netted twice for the reserves in a 2-1 win at home to Norwich City.
The Eagles fielded Jon Macken and Danny Granville who were returning from injury and trialists Osman Sesay and Michael Kamara.
After dominating the first half, Palace went ahead in the 53rd minute. Granville's free-kick was flicked on by a Norwich defender, and as keeper Joe Lewis palmed it away, it fell to Hudson who nodded in.
Three minutes later, Hudson headed Granville's free-kick past Lewis at the far post.
Norwich pulled a goal back in the 83rd minute when Ryan Jarvis' free-kick deflected off the wall past a hapless Julian Speroni.
Palace: Speroni, Fray, Hudson, Kamara, Granville; Andrews, Sesay (Straker 77), Starkey, Reich (Wiggins 46); Grabban, Macken (Sheringham 62). Subs not used: Wilkinson, Watanabe.
