Iain Dowie called on his players to go into the play-offs on a high despite seeing Leicester end their automatic promotion hopes.
Goals from Andy Welsh and Stephen Hughes clinched the points for Leicester, but Dowie is determined to ensure Palace get a winning run going before the play-offs.
He said: "The aim now is to win every game between now and the end of the season so we go into the play-offs in good form.
"Third is the best we can do and that is what we are aiming for.
"We dominated the second half without question.
"But we didn't have the killer ball. I thought our energy levels were brilliant but our final ball was poor.
"The second goal probably flattered them.
"We've got to be more crude as a team in those situations, but let's not get carried away, we just beat Watford 3-1."
