Jamie Pollock
Eagles midfielder Jamie Pollock is set to battle for a place in the first team. He has admitted that it won't be easy to keep his place after regaining it last weekend.
Pollock was left out of the first team for a few weeks after a bust up with manager Alan Smith and the coaching staff, but regained his place last weekend in the game against West Brom.
The former Manchester City man scored after only five minutes in the game that ended in a 2-2 draw.
Pollock said: "The gaffer was well within his rights and I was well within my rights - there was nothing much to it.
"The gaffer dropped me for a game to give me chance to get my head sorted but the players who came in did well.
"But as far as I'm concerned I'm just going to get my head down. I'm ready to battle to get back into the side regularly."
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have had two players on trial and are now set to make a decision about the pair.
The two players are Canadian goalkeeper Hubert Busby and striker Danny Boetang.
Busby has been capped nine times by Canada at B level and has had spells with Toronto and Portuguese side Belenenses. The 29-year-old keeper is available on a free.
Boetang, 20, was on trial with Leicester City before arriving at Selhurst Park.
