Clinton Morrison
A strong Palace reserves side beat Whyteleafe 3-1 in the only pre season game before the Pontins League begins.
Palace lined up with Clinton Morrison and Sandor Torghelle up front, and new signing Matt Lawrence partnered old Millwall teammate Darren Ward at the back.
Morrison missed a penalty early on in the match, but still grabbed two goals, and Tommy Black scored Palace's third.
Torghelle had another frustrating game in attack, missing an open goal amongst numerous chances.
Trialist Jamie England played on the left of midfield and impressed in the first half. England is currently in the MK Dons academy.
The Eagles' first reserve match of the Pontins Holiday Combination League is on August 16 against Aldershot at Bromley FC.
Palace: Flinders, Starkey, Borrowdale, Ward, Lawrence, Black, England, Spence, Reich, Morrison, Torghelle.
