Sandor Torghelle has joined Greek side PAOK Salonika on a free transfer.
Torghelle, 24, has struggled to nail down a regular place in the team since a £750,000 switch from MTK Budapest two years ago.
The Hungarian hotshot spent the whole of last season on loan at Greek side Panathinaikos to get regular football.
But he has failed to impress new Eagles manager Peter Taylor who has used Torghele's move to free up cash from the wage bill to get a new forward in.
Torghelle made 15 appearances - mostly as a substitute - scoring one goal against Charlton in the Carling Cup.
