Danny Butterfield
Danny Butterfield made his comeback from injury in the reserves' 3-1 league defeat at home to Millwall.
The right-back played 45 minutes as he recovers from an ankle injury sustained against Coventry last month.
Danny Granville, Mark Hudson, Stuart Green and Ben Watson also featured in this local derby.
Marvin Williams put the Lions in front with a 27th minute strike that Julian Speroni was unable to hold.
Ten minutes later, Williams notched his second of the day when he beat the Palace off-side trap and lobbed Speroni.
Palace found themselves three down thanks to a goal from Chris Zebrowski, who fired past sub keeper David Wilkinson.
Ryan Hall pulled back a consolation for the Eagles with a powerful shot from Phil Starkey's cross.
Palace: Speroni (Wilkinson 46), Butterfield (Starkey 46), Fray, Hudson, Granville, Black, Watson, Green, Hall (Moses 68), Grabban, Sheringham.
Subs not used: Carolan, Dayton.
