Paul Ifill has completed a £750,000 move from Sheffield United to Palace.

The former Milwall winger signs on a two-and-a-half year contract and will be available for selection for the Eagles' next match against Coventry on Saturday.

Ifill was born in Brighton and started his career at the Lions, where he made over 250 appearances.

He moved to Sheffield United in May 2005 for a fee of £800,000 and had a major hand in their promotion to the Premiership scoring nine goals during the 2005-06 season.

The 27-year-old will join former Millwall team mates Darren Ward and Matt Lawerence at Selhurst Park.
