Crystal Palace
The Crystal Palace reserves lost 2-1 against their Southend United counterparts on Wednesday evening. The Eagles, who had Neil Ruddock in their side, took the lead but Southend came back to clinch the three points.
Danny Boateng could have given The Eagles an early lead but his eefort was cleared off the line by a Southend defender.
Andrew Martin scored the opener on 23 minutes heading home a Sean Hankin's cross from the left.
Soon after the interval Southend equalised through Ben Abbey and 12 minutes from time Leon Hunter scored the winner.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have set a target for newly signed Ricardo Fuller.
Fuller is to play eight first-team games if he wants to secure a permanent move from Tivoli Gardens.
He has already played one comming on as a sub against Barnsley on Tuesday night.
