Clinton Morrison
Kit Symons has backed Clinton Morrison to release his frustrations by keeping Crystal Palace in the play-off race.
Morrison admits this has been the most difficult season of his career as he struggles to convince Peter Taylor is worth a regular place in the team.
But the Republic of Ireland striker has been restored to the starting line-up for the last two matches and responded with a match-winning double against 10-man Luton.
Symons believes Morrison can go on a scoring run now and said: "Clinton comes alive in the box.
"It's been a frustrating season for him, but hopefully he can kick on from here.
"We didn't play fantastically well today, but we did more than enough to win the game.
"Until it's mathematically impossible to get promotion, we're going to keep grinding away."
