Peter Taylor
Peter Taylor admits Crystal Palace need to win six of their last eight games to stay in the play-off hunt.
Taylor's side kept alive their hopes of a top-six finish with an impressive win at promotion-chasing West Brom on Wednesday.
But the Eagles, who won at the Hawthorns thanks to Lewis Grabban's late goal, are still eight points from the play-off places going into the final straight.
The Palace boss knows it will take a superb winning run combined with a loss of nerve from their rivals to make it.
"We need to win matches and we need other teams to stumble, which is happening," Taylor said.
"I would think we would have to win at least six games and hope other teams stumble, if they do that then we have a chance, if they don't then we will have to have a go at ourselves for our start to the season."
