Simon Jordan and Iain Dowie
Crystal Palace chief Simon Jordan launched a fresh attack on Charlton labelling them "a bunch of nobodies".
Jordan also slated former manager Iain Dowie, saying he hated him as his manners, outlook and attitude stank.
He said: "I couldn't care less about Charlton. They're a bunch of nobodies. They spread lies about me. Rotten, dirty lies. When they didn't have a ground, we gave them ours.
"Yet when we get relegated in the last minute at The Valley, their fans do a conga?
"Their chairman turns around to me and says, 'Enjoy The Championship. . . t****r.' That's just despicable."
Jordan added: "I don't want to say it, because I hated our manager at the time. I didn't like him at all. His manners, outlook and attitude stank. And I told him so, after we won the play-off final. So what he got promotion? That's what I paid him to do."
Jordan issued Dowie a writ live on Sky Sports while he was being unveiled as Charlton's new manager.
Speaking to FHM, he said: "His face was a picture. I knew what they were up to and thought my writ could tie in nicely with their Press conference.
"But then, I'm sitting on my sofa in Spain, Sky Sports News on, and I see they've brought it forward! Charlton won't let him in, so I phoned Sky and said, 'You want some good TV? Get my man into that Press conference now!' They managed to sneak him in."
