Peter Taylor
Crystal Palace manager Peter Taylor has laughed off reports of a clash with chairman Simon Jordan.
The Mirror last week claimed the pair had a bust-up as Jordan wants to get rid of the club’s high earners against Taylor’s wishes.
But Taylor said: "There’s absolutely no problems between Simon and myself. Because I hadn’t seen him when I’d said I wanted to, people jumped to conclusions.
"He’s extremely busy at the minute. As long as I see him well before the end of the season, which I’m sure will be the case, then that leaves us plenty of time.
"Apparently Simon’s on the hunt for a new manager now, but that’s news to me. As far as I’m concerned, our relationship’s as strong as it’s ever been."
