Jordan - Not liking Pollock
Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has slammed midfielder Jamie Pollock who has recently been transfer listed by manager Alan Smith. Jordan claims that Pollock is not a team player.
The former Middlesbrough man was transfer listed two weeks ago after he openly criticised Smith's tactics and management.
Pollock recently said that he is prepared to fight The Eagles by calling in the Professional Footballers Association if Smith doesn't select him in the squad.
Chairman Jordan said that he doesn't want Pollock to be part of the club anymore. He believes that the midfielder is only out to help himself.
Jordan said: "I think that he plays for himself. I think he plays for the crowd. If he played for the team he wouldn't be running over to get himself sent off against Norwich."
Meanwhile, Palace are reported to be one of the clubs following Sunderland star Daniele Dichio.
The 26-year-old has only started intwo Premiership games this season so he could be tempted to move on.
Other clubs who have been watching Dichio recently are Ipswich, Derby and Watford with Ipswich, as potential UEFA Cup participants next season, as favourites.
