Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor has been sacked as Crystal Palace manager.

The final straw for chairman Simon Jordan was Saturday's failure to beat Hull City at Selhurst Park.

Palace sit sixth bottom in the Championship table after a terrible start to the campaign, taking just 10 points from the first 10 matches.

A statement on the club's official site said: "Crystal Palace Football Club announce that Peter Taylor's contract has been terminated with immediate effect."
