Reserves - played here
The Crystal Palace reserves have beaten Wycombe Wanderers by two goals to one at the National Sports Centre on Wednesday evening. The Eagles' goals were scored by Andrew Martin and Stephen Kabba.
The Eagles reserve team deserved the win although the goals came after the interval.
It was Welsh youngster Andrew Martin scored the opener in the 57th minute. He scored from a corner that was flicked on by Gregg Berhalter.
On 68 minutes Stephen Kabba hit Palace's second with a shot across the Wycombe goalie into
the far corner of the net.
In the last minute Wycombe pulled one back through Stewart Castledine.
Meanwhile, loan signing Amir Karic has returned to his club Ipswich Town after failing to impress boss Alan Smith.
Karic was due to to be with The Eagles until the start of next month but he is understood to have found it difficult fitting in with The Eagles more direct style of play and it was agreed to terminate the deal.
The Slovenian international appeared three times in the Eagles' line up: against Preston North End, Birmingham City and Wimbledon.
