Dave Martin
Crystal Palace winger Dave Martin has joined local rivals Millwall on transfer deadline day.
Martin moves in a £50,000 deal, rising to £100,000 on appearances, and inks a two-and-a-half year deal with the Lions.
The 22-year-old only arrived from non-league outfit Dartford a year ago and made two starts and 13 sub appearances as he struggled to make the first team.
Eagles boss Neil Warnock has been keen to get rid of many of Peter Taylor's signings and Martin is delighted to get the chance of regular action with Millwall.
"I've known this move has been on the cards for a few weeks now, but it wasn't clear that it might actually happen until a few hours before the deadline," said Martin.
"I'm really pleased everything's done now and I'm looking forward to the chance of regular first team football with Millwall."
Millwall manager Kenny Jackett said: "David will give the team pace and balance as a wide left sided player and I expect hm to go straight into the squad for Saturday's game against Doncaster."
Martin becomes the second Palace star to join Millwall this month after Lewis Grabban moved across South London earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Stuart Green and Charlie Sheringham plus loanee Besian Idrizaj have left the club.
A statement on the official Palace site read: "The deadline day action saw Stuart Green and Charlie Sheringham have their contracts terminated whilst Besian Idrizaj's loan has also been terminated at the same time all by mutual consent."
