Crystal Palace's reserves suffered a 1-0 defeat after a freak goal at home to Watford at Bromley.

Bulgarian trialist Todor Kyuchukov played in goal, while there were starts for strikers Max Noble and Bradley Hudson-Odoi who were recently released by Fulham.

In a poor game, Palace failed to find an effort on target and lost this league match inside the opening two minutes.

Watford gained possession from Palace's kick-off and Hornets striker Liam Henderson lobbed Kyuchukov from 30 yards where the ball hit the bar and bounced in off the keeper's leg.

Palace: Kyuchukov, Abnett (Dalhouse 67), Hills (Adelakun 72), Fonte, Swaibu, Hughes, Smith, Moses, Noble, Kudjodji, Hudson-Odoi (Concalves 66).

Not used: Cadogan, Sweeney.
