Crystal Palace have swooped for Scott Sinclair on loan from Chelsea.
Eagles boss Neil Warnock had been chasing the 19-year-old winger for some time and was upset when he opted to join Charlton instead.
But after a month at the Valley with just three sub appearances, the deal was cancelled and the Blues ace moved to Palace where he has been promised first team football.
"We are just delighted," said Warnock. "Obviously we have been working hard behind the scenes to get him. He's the type of player we have been looking for but have been finding it difficult to get. We just want him to enjoy himself now really."
Sinclair has sparkled while on loan at Palace's Championship rivals Plymouth and Queens Park Rangers over the past year. He scored against Palace for QPR in November's 1-1 draw.
The Chelsea youth product has made six starts and four sub appearances, scoring one goal for the Blues.
