Crystal Palace goalkeeper Scott Flinders has signed for Falkirk on loan until January.

Flinders, 22, joins the Scottish Premier League side in search of first-team football after dropping down the pecking order at Selhurst Park.

New signing Darryl Flahavan has become Palace's no.2 behind Player of the Year Julian Speroni.

Eagles boss Neil Warnock said: "Scott's agreed to go to Falkirk and we need to move one or two more on just to freshen things up."

Flinders has made 13 appearances for the Eagles and went on loan at Blackpool and Yeovil last season in search of regular football.

He has failed to make an impact at the club since Peter Taylor signed him for £1million from Barnsley in 2006.
