Eagles snap up Lee

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has swooped for Ipswich striker Alan Lee.

Lee signs for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £750,000, and pens a three-year contract.

The 30-year-old will take his place in attack and replaces James Scowcroft who is set to join Bristol City before the transfer deadline.

Irishman Lee scored 31 goals in 91 appearances for Ipswich after joining them from Cardiff City in 2006.
