The Football League
Clinton Morrison may have shared many wonderful years at Selhurst Park but he would love nothing more than getting one over the side he left in the summer on Saturday.
The Londoner netted the winner against his other former side, Birmingham, on Monday and in what will be a tense battle his ability to finish could make all the difference.
The Sky Blues looked to have turned a corner in recent weeks, with a three game unbeaten run, which has been built around their solidity at the back. Meanwhile Palace have stuttered in the same period after a good October and they will be happy to leave the Midlands with a point.
In a game where clear-cut opportunities will be at a premium it looks difficult to separate the two sides. Therefore backing Under 2.5 goals looks the best option. The 4/6 available may not be much of a price but it looks a very solid bet in a tense encounter.
Back Under 2.5 goals @ 4/6 with Stan James.
Elsewhere in the Championship I like the look of a Plymouth (10/11) and Reading (8/11) double and around the 3/1 mark.
Back Plymouth / Reading double with all leading bookmakers.
