The Football League
Predicting Crytsal Palace performances, let alone results, has been a difficult task this season with inconsistency becoming a common feature in recent months.
Up against Cardiff this weekend they face the exact opposite. The Welsh side have been a model of consistency that has been the backbone of their playoff bid. They have scored very few goals (eighteen in sixteen games) but crucially have conceded fewer and evidently are very difficult to breakdown.
However there has been a huge reliance on Ross McCormack, who has eleven goals so far, and with the Scot a doubt for the game the Bluebirds could struggle for goals once again.
In reality there is little difference between the sides but Cardiff’s knack for getting results rightly makes them the favourites. However with McCormack a doubt I’m willing to take a chance on the draw at 12/5 in which promises to be a game of few chances.

Also in the Championship this weekend I like the look of Birmingham (8-13) to beat Charlton, Bristol City (5/6) to defeat Nottingham Forest and QPR (11/10) to overcome Burnley. A treble on those three pays around 6/1.
