Crystal Palace keeper Scott Flinders has returned to the club after his loan with Falkirk expired.

Flinders made nine first-team appearances for the Bairns after signing for the Scottish Premier League outfit in August.

Falkirk managing director George Craig said: "Scott has returned to Crystal Palace and we are in discussions about whether we can bring in another keeper."

Flinders, who Peter Taylor signed for Ł1million from Barnsley in July 2006, had stints on loan at Yeovil Town and Blackpool last season and is out of contract this summer.

The 22-year-old has been told by Eagles boss Neil Warnock he is not part of his plans for the future.
