Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have captured Derby defender Claude Davis on a month's loan - just before the transfer deadline.
Palace are in desperate need of a strong centre-half after shipping 10 goals in their last four matches.
Davis, 29, is likely to step straight into the first-team for the Eagles who are badly missing the injured Paddy McCarthy.
The Jamaican international joined Derby from Sheffield United for £3m in July 2007 but has not featured for the Rams of late.
Davis played under Neil Warnock at Sheffield United during the Blades' tenure in the Premier League.
Warnock said: "We are taking Claude on loan until the end of the season - but Derby can recall him at any time."
Meanwhile, young left-back Rhoys Wiggins has extended his loan at AFC Bournemouth until the end of the season subject to final confirmation from the Football League.
