Crystal Palace reserves thrashed Lewes 6-0 at the Dripping Pan.

Kieron Cadogan and Nathaniel Pinney both grabbed hat-tricks in this comprehensive victory against the Combination's whipping boys.

Cadogan started the rout in the 19th minute after combining well with Simon Thomas on the edge of the box and firing left-footed into the bottom corner.

Ten minutes later, Cadogan got his second after controlling James Dayton's difficult pass with his head and executing another clinical finish.

At the start of the second half, Cadogan completed his hat-trick with a close-range strike after Pinney has mis-hit his shot.

Seconds later, Pinney got in on the act to make it 4-0 after racing onto a Dayton throughball and lifting the ball over the advancing keeper to score.

In the 80th minute, Pinney scored his second of the night and Palace's number five. Scott Flinders booted a long kick forward and the youngster was first to the ball and calmly slotted home.

And he completed his treble by controlling Johannes Ertl's pass and rifling on the volley into the back of the net.

Palace: Flinders, Abnett, Hills, Goldsmith, Ertl, Nnamani, Cadogan, N'Diaye, Pinney, Thomas, Dayton.

Subs: Morgan, Kiernan, Johnson.
