Craig Beattie
It was tough but we've managed to scrape together the top 10 moments of season 2008/09 for Crystal Palace.
1. The Palace players turning out in the much-loved all white strip with red and blue sash this season (August 9).
2. A gutsy Palace display to hold onto a goalless draw at home to Burnley after going down to 10 men two minutes into the second half, then nine for the remaining 38 minutes (August 25).
3. Getting £1.25million from Premier League Stoke for Academy product Tom Soares. Have we really missed him? (September 2).
4. On-loan striker Craig Beattie heading home the winner in a rare victory over Charlton (September 30).
5. Teenage right-back Nathaniel Clyne making his debut at home to Barnsley. What a player! (October 18).
6. Paddy McCarthy's 40 yard screamer in the 2-1 win away to Derby County for goal of the season (December 6).
7. Nick Carle equalising for Palace at Sheffield United in the fifth minute of stoppage time with an excellent volley when the Blades thought they had won it by scoring two minutes from time (December 20).
8. Teenager Kieron Cadogan scoring on his debut in the draw with Coventry - one of a number of promising Academy kids to break into the first team this season (April 7).
9. Hearing Blackpool coming back from two goals down to draw with Charlton in stoppage time which sent the Addicks down to League One (April 18).
10. The final whistle after the Sheffield United home game. Glad the season is over (May 3).
