Jose Fonte
Crystal Palace came from behind to earn a 2-2 friendly draw at Brentford.
Palace, with new boys Darren Ambrose and Freddie Sears in the starting line-up, started well and took the lead after 23 minutes.
Ambrose netted his second successive goal with a 25-yard free-kick hit low that took a slight deflection off a Brentford defender past the helpless keeper Lewis Price.
The Bees equalised seven minutes later when a well flighted corner was headed into his own goal by Paddy McCarthy.
And the League One club went in front in the 57th minute as Miles Weston struck a powerful shot from the edge of the area past Julian Speroni.
But Palace managed to get the scores level through Jose Fonte who put away Nick Carle's free-kick at the far post on 78 minutes.
Next up is Bristol Rovers away on Friday July 24.
Palace: Speroni, Clyne, Derry (Ertl 65), McCarthy (Fonte 65), Ambrose (Hills), Danns (Carle 65), Moses (Scannell 65), Sears, Lawrence, Lee (N'Diaye 45), Butterfield (Hill 45).
Not used: Flahavan.
