Team news

Crystal Palace left-back Lee Hills is cup-tied after playing in the competition while on loan with Oldham Athletic. Danny Butterfield is back from a hamstring injury and could play at right-back, with Nathaniel Clyne moving along to the left side. It would be Butterfield's 250th appearance. Clint Hill and Claude Davis are set to remain in the middle of defence.

New Wolves signing Geoffrey Mujangi Bia is set to make his debut after joining on loan from RSC Charleroi this week. Full-back Richard Stearman is suspended.

Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"Mick McCarthy always talked sense about the game and is level-headed and a natural leader. I’m not surprised to see what he has done in his life.

"He’s doing brilliant with Wolves. The first time he went up with Sunderland he didn’t have a chance of staying there but Mick has learned from that. One or two decisions have upset people but he is just geared to keeping them up. They have got a good chance of doing that.

"A lot has been made of their strikers not scoring but if they want they can always loan them to us! I’ll speak to Mick about helping us out – but they’ll have to pay the wages!"

Julian Speroni

"At the moment we are going into every game that we play thinking that we can win and the match at Wolves is no different.

"It is always nice to play Premier League clubs. We are doing well in the Championship so it is good for us to test ourselves against sides from the next level.

"Anything can happen in the FA Cup, you only have to ask Manchester United about that. We want to go as far in the competition as we possibly can."
