Crystal Palace will open their 2010/11 Championship campaign at home to Leicester City on Saturday August 7, 2010.

The Eagles are set to name their new manager this afternoon at 3.30pm, and the new boss will have his work cutout from the outset as they take on play-off semi-finalists Leicester City at Selhurst Park.

Palace take on League One outfit Yeovil Town in the Carling Cup in the week commencing 9th August and have their first away match at Barnsley on Saturday August 14.

They host relegated sides Portsmouth on September 14, Burnley on September 18 and Hull City on December 11.

Boxing Day sees the Eagles take on newly promoted Norwich City at home and rivals Millwall on New Year Day at the New Den.

Palace's home tie against The Lions takes place on Saturday 16 October.

Palace will end the season at home to Nottingham Forest on Sunday May 8, 2011.
