George Burley has been sacked as manager of Crystal Palace.
Burley was relieved of his duties after the Eagles suffered a 3-0 loss against Millwall on New Years Day.
Dougie Freedman has taken over as caretaker manager and will be at the helm for the Eagles' next fixture against Preston on Monday.
A statement on the official site read: "George Burley has today been relieved of his duties as First Team Manager of Crystal Palace FC.
"We would like to thank George for his dedication and hard work and share his regret that things didn't work out for him here.
"Dougie Freedman will take charge of the first team on a caretaker basis for the game against Preston."
