Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman has boosted his squad with left-back Dean Moxey.
Moxey, who is out of contract in the summer, has penned a three-and-a-half year deal after signing for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old started his career with hometown club Exeter and made 196 appearances, scoring 24 goals.
Derby snapped him up in July 2009 for £350,000 and he played 58 times for the Rams with two goals.
He was sent off in Derby's loss at home to Nottingham Forest last week so is suspended for Palace's trip to Watford on Tuesday night.
