Crystal Palace youngsters Ibra Sekajja and Jake Caprice have signed one-year professional deals.
But it is sad news for fellow second year scholars Charlie Mann, Dan Pringle, Karl Knight and Rhys Williamson-Murrell who were released by the club.
Academy manager Gary Issott told cpfc.co.uk: "Both Ibra and Jake have worked very hard over the last two years and have continued to show their capabilities, their potential is there for everyone to see but this is only the beginning.
"They must realise that the hard work starts here and that potential can only come through with a lot of hard work and hopefully a long career with Crystal Palace Football Club.
"As for those who are being released we will help each individual try and find another club as soon as possible. We take this opportunity of thanking them for all their efforts and wish them every success in the future."
Jerry Nnamani, Jack Holland, Charlie Holness and Matt Parsons signed pro contracts last year.
