The Eagles have won their first friendly on home soil.

In Devon, they beat Tiverton Town by two goals to one. A final minute goal by Andrew Martin earned Palace the win.

The Eagles took an early lead at Ladysmead stadium through Martin on twenty eight minutes. The young striker converted a flick on by Julian Gray after a corner from Tommy Black.

Palace had chances for a second goal in the first half but Black, Gray and Martin did not convert them. Ten minutes after the break, Tiverton levelled the score through Nance Kivell, who beat Matt Gregg in the Palace goal.

In the final minute however Martin scored the winner set up by Dougie Freedman with a fine backheel pass.
