Crystal Palace duo Glenn Murray and Wilfried Zaha have been shortlisted for honours at this year's Football League Awards.

Murray, who is the country's leading scorer with 29 goals, is up against Watford's Matěj Vydra and Thomas Ince of Blackpool for the Championship Player of the Year title.

Winger Zaha is looking to retain the Young Player of the Year honour he won last year but Vydra and Ince stand in his way also. The ceremony will be held at The Brewery, in London on Sunday.

Richard Heaselgrave, Chief Commercial Officer at The Football League, said: "The Football League Awards are a great way to celebrate the work that goes on behind the scenes at each club, as well as the action that has taken place on the pitch each week.

"To make these shortlists is a real achievement. I would like to wish all those nominated the best of luck and we look forward to announcing the winners on the evening."
