Pulis bags Manager of the month award

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has won the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month award for April.

Pulis, who has masterminded Palace staying up in the Premier League for the first time, oversaw four crucial victories on the spin in April, against Cardiff City, Aston Villa, Everton and West Ham.

Together with the 1-0 victory against title contenders Chelsea at the end of March, Palace matched a record five wins in a row which they also achieved back in 1992.
