Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace won their fifth consecutive league game beating Wimbledon by four goals to nil at Selhurst Park today.
Goals were scored by Clinton Morrison, Jovan Kirovski, Aki Riihilahti and an own goal by Dons' defender Wayne Brown.
Despite some early pressure from Wimbledon with a chance for former Palace player Neil Shipperley on 19 minutes, Palace took the lead after 32 minutes.
Jovan Kirovski set up Clinton Morrison who scored his 10th goal of the season with a left foot shot into the far corner.
Nine minutes later, the Eagles doubled their lead when Kirovski scored from a Dougie Freedman right-wing cross.
Fifteen minutes into the second half, the Dons had a chance to get back into the game, but Michael Hughes found Palace goalkeeper Matt Clarke in his path.
On 78 minutes, the Palace faithful saw their new hero Riihilahti fire a 25-yard cracker past Wimbledon keeper Kelvin Davies.
The last goal came from a Wimbledon player. Six minutes from time it was Dons' defender Wayne Brown who headed a Kirovski cross into his own net sealing Palace's 4-0 win.
