Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has confirmed the signing of Senegalese international Pape Souare from Lille.
Parish tweeted the confirmation earlier this evening:
"Delighted that Pape Souare has just this minute signed for Crystal Palace. A warm welcome from all of us."
The 24-year-old left-back played for Senegal during the Africa Cup of Nations, and has played for Lille since 2009.
He made 56 appearances for the French club and also played the 2012-13 season on-loan at Reims, where he played 23 times.
Souare joins recent signings Jordon Mutch, and Shola Ameobi into the 25 man squad for the remainder of the Premier League season.
Palace boss Alan Pardew stated in a recent press conference that is he unlikely to sign any more players before the transfer deadline day on the 2nd February.
