Crystal Palace legend Ian Wright has tipped the Eagles to win the FA Cup.
The former hotshot is backing his old teammate Alan Pardew to deliver a long-awaited trophy for the supporters.
Wright, 51, and Pardew played in the same side the last time Palace reached the FA Cup final in 1990 when the former striker scored two goals off the bench in a 3-3 draw with Manchester United.
"I'm looking forward to Crystal Palace this season - that's an exciting football team under Alan Pardew," said Wright.
"I was absolutely delighted that he went back there. As a former teammate it was painful seeing how he was being treated by Newcastle and the fans.
"To see him go to Palace with that young, vibrant side that he's got, with Cabaye, it's just very exciting.
"I want to tip Palace for the FA Cup. I think they'll be very tough to beat if they get something going in the FA Cup or the Capital One Cup."
