Wickham: Scored a first half goal

Crystal Palace preserved their unbeaten pre-season campaign with a 3-2 win at AFC Wimbledon.

A first half goal from Connor Wickham and second half goals from Yannick Bolasie and Freddie Ladapo secured a third victory in five friendly games.

The Premier League side went in front in the 28th minute through Wickham, who headed Zeki Fryers' left-wing cross past Dons keeper Ryan Clarke.

Wimbledon equalised 10 minutes later after Damien Delaney was robbed by Dean Parrett in the area and he laid the ball off to Lyle Taylor who scored via a deflection.

Pape Souare made his first appearance of the summer and replaced Fryers for the second half, while Fraizer Campbell lasted just two minutes before being replaced by Ladapo after sustaining an injury.

Ladapo made an instant impact when he pressured a Dons defender into a mistake and set up Yannick Bolasie to net from just two yards.

Front man Ladapo added a goal to his assist on 76 minutes by turning home Ben Wynter's cross from the right for his first Eagles strike to make it 3-1.

AFC pulled a goal back seconds later after Souare misjudged his header to keeper Julian Speroni and the ball bounced over the line before he could recover and clear.
