Fraser Digby, who has been out with a shoulder injury since the start of the season, has revealed that he would like to renew his contract at Selhurst Park.
The 33-year-old keeper is out of contract at the end of the season, but he believes can be of importance to the Palace squad.
He said: "I'd like to think that I have a few more years left in me, if I can keep myself fit I can see myself playing until the age of 40 likes Dave Beasant.
"Right now I've got to be patient and wait for my shoulder to repair itself, then I'll be looking to get back as soon as possible.
"I want to be part of the team like I have been for the past two years. I think that the club will go places now that Simon Jordan has come in."
