Christian Benteke
Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke believes Sam Allardyce can turn the team's fortunes around.
Allardyce claimed his first win as Eagles boss in Tuesday night's 2-1 success over Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup, thanks to a brace from Benteke.
The former Liverpool striker reckons Allardyce can follow that up by leading the Eagles to a much-needed league victory at home to Everton on Saturday and take them out of relegation trouble.
"He is a manager with a lot of experience, he has been in the Premier League for a long time and knows how to manage the team to get out of the position we are in now," said Benteke.
"The only thing I know is that the win against Bolton is going to be a big boost for us. We are in a dangerous position, we have to move on and we have to look up, because we have the ability and quality in the squad.
"We know how tough that is going to be to play Everton but the good thing is we are at home, and when you play at home anything can happen. We look forward to the game and we are going to fight."
He added: "I am very happy here and I want to fight to help the team to move up the table. We deserve it with the players that we have got. Now we have to show it on the pitch."
