Luka Milivojevic
Luka Milivojevic is delighted that Crystal Palace are winning ugly.
The midfield anchorman, 25, helped his side to a 1-0 win on Saturday in a bad-tempered match against Watford to make it three victories on the bounce.
Despite not managing a shot on target through the whole 90 minutes, Palace won the key battles to wrap up a hard-fought victory thanks to Troy Deeney's own goal.
"It was a strange game," Milivojevic told the Palace website. "There were a lot of fights, duels and a lot of set pieces. The fans wouldn't have enjoyed watching that, they didn't see much quality football but sometimes the games are like this.
"We're very proud to win these type of games, when you put your head and legs in there to win 50-50 balls. I think the best player was the team."
The Eagles begin a two-week international break in buoyant mood before they make the daunting trip to Premier League leaders Chelsea.
"Three games in a row we've won, we're very proud of ourselves, we're happy," Milivojevic added. "Now we go for the national team break happy – and that's very good for the team."
