Andros Townsend played right wing-back in a new system
Check out the action shots from Crystal Palace's Asia Trophy defeat to Liverpool, in Hong Kong.
Palace boss Frank de Boer opted for a new 3-4-3 formation for this friendly game.
Academy striker Keshi Anderson was given a starting role.
Andros Townsend was playing in a right wing-back position and had an effort saved.
Wayne Hennessey kept the scores level at the break when he denied Daniel Sturridge.
Striker Dominic Solanke fired Liverpool ahead after the break with a low strike from the edge of the area.
De Boer then introduced Acedemy midfielder Aaron Wan-Bissaka into the fray.
And then more subs, including new signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek into the midfield.
And another Eagles youngster in Michael Phillips.
Forward Freddie Ladapo also came off the bench.
Christian Benteke was unable to score against his old side.
Then Divock Origi added a second goal for Liverpool and wrap up the victory. Palace meet West Brom in their next game.
